Review: Samsung High Speed microSDHC 8Gb card
This week we received a Samsung High Speed microSDHC card 8Gb with adapter for Review from MemoryCardZoo.
Samsung’s latest MicroSDHC memory card is apparently shock, dust and waterproof, as well as X-ray and magnet-safe; never ones to back down from a challenge, we put the card through its paces to see if its claimed durability would hold up after a set of rigorous tests.
True to its word, our digital photos stayed intact after close contact with a magnet. It also survived being thrown under a desk in our very untidy labs; after blowing off the dust and dirt, we could still access all our files.
It even survived a direct impact with a concrete floor when we dropped it from head height.
If you’re the type of person that could do with a memory card that can withstand more than the usual bumps and scrapes, this could be ideal, especially at a very reasonable price.
