Apple debuts single sign-on for iOS and tvOS with 9 partners including Dish, DirecTV, Sling TV, but is missing big names like Comcast, Charter, Verizon FiOS

Sign in to your cable or satellite-TV provider on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV. Then enjoy instant access to supported video apps that your pay TV subscription includes.

Even if your provider supports Single sign-on, there still might be apps that you need to open and sign in to individually. To keep your apps updated, turn on automatic updates: On Apple TV, go to Settings > Apps. For iOS, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Updates.
