Cornerstone Technologies, a leading event production provider, today announced the appointment of marketing veteran Stuart Gold as executive advisor to implement growth strategies and identify new markets and opportunities.
Cornerstone has been an active presence in the Utah tech industry for more than 25 years, with a proven track record of creating successful events for a range of companies, including Wendy's, Adobe, Cloudera, Monster Energy, LinkedIn, eBay and others. As the exclusive production provider for Utah's acclaimed Silicon Slopes Tech Summit, Cornerstone earned praise for its inspirational concepts and precise technology.
"Working with Cornerstone has made all the difference in achieving our goals with the annual tech summit," said Clint Betts, executive director of Silicon Slopes. "Cornerstone has always been able to catch the vision of the event and take it to the next level through incredible technology and displays to make the entire experience unforgettable."
Gold brings more than 30 years of experience in integrated marketing and events to his role at Cornerstone, through leadership roles at Domo, DocuSign and Omniture (now Adobe), among others. Gold recently worked together with Cornerstone in his role as executive producer for the Silicon Slopes Tech Summit. He will bring his international marketing experience to bear as he works with the Cornerstone team to help establish the company as a major provider of event production and management.
"Cornerstone is a dragon that just woke up, with tremendous potential of becoming a leading live event production company on a national and global scale," said Gold. "Silicon Slopes was an exceptionally successful event, and just a taste of what we are capable of producing. Show organizers and attendees alike are consistently amazed at the results; these aren't your grandma's events."
Gold will combine his knowledge and experience with the creativity, artistry and capability of Cornerstone's experienced team. Cornerstone is appointing Gold to help expand operations into new markets, bringing the company's strategy, execution and value to opportunities with tech companies in California's Bay Area, and beyond.
"We are thrilled to work together with Stuart in changing industry expectations as to what an event can provide," said Chad Fraughton, co-owner of Cornerstone. "A truly disruptive show requires the perfect blend of creativity and technology. Cornerstone specializes in bringing that magic to events, taking them to the next level for guests and organizers alike."
