Turning Technologies to award $30,000 in educational technology



Turning Technologies, the global leader in learning engagement and assessment solutions, will award more than $30,000 in grants for the second year in a row to help support 21st century learning and student success.


Open to K-12 schools across the United States, the Classroom Improvement Technology Grant will award ten classrooms with educational technology designed for an interactive learning experience that promotes effective instruction and increases student achievement.

"We believe in the power of interactive technology to help instructors create engaging classroom environments that enrich learning for all students," said Chuck Reigrut, vice president of K-12, Corporate and Government Sales. "Turning Technologies' Classroom Improvement Technology Grant is a way for us to partner with innovative educators to provide the tools they need to support their students' success."

As part of the grant application, teachers are asked to share their class needs and how the implementation of educational technology can greatly benefit learners. Ten classroom awards valued at $3,056 each will be recognized nationally. Each winning classroom will receive the following from Turning Technologies:

TurningPoint – Polling software to create and deliver interactive lessons and collect real-time results.

Mobi View – Mobile interactive whiteboard featuring a large LCD touchscreen that enables instructors to deliver content from anywhere in their classroom.

32-Seat QT2 Kit – Classroom clicker system featuring multiple ways for students to engage and interact. Includes an offline receiver with a 10-year TurningPoint subscription.

ExamView Assessment Suite & Learning Series – Complete testing solution to create, launch and review assessments.

ExamView Premium – Mobile solution that allows students to respond to ExamView questions with a computer, tablet or smartphone.

K-12 educators currently teaching in an accredited, non-profit school in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Applications can be completed here and must be submitted by Friday, March 23, 2018.
