ZEISS Showcases New Batis 2/40CF Lenses And Introduces The New Generation ZX1 Camera

ZEISS is exhibiting stunning new products at PhotoPlus Expo in New York City from Thursday, October 25th through Saturday, October 27th, 2018. ZEISS will be showcasing a new member of the Batis family of lenses, the Batis 2/40CF, and their new generation ZX1 camera at Booth #1029

The Batis family of lenses have a longstanding reputation of being lightweight with fast autofocus and close focusing distance. The ZEISS Batis autofocus lenses are specially developed for mirrorless, full-frame sensor cameras from Sony. ZEISS' new Batis 2/40 CF has a 40-millimeter fixed focal length, making it ideal for close-ups. In addition, its close focusing distance of just 24 centimeters (9.4 inches), combined with its moderate wide-angle imaging the Close Focus lens (CF) is incomparable for varying landscapes. Additionally, the high micro contrast and initial aperture of f/2 can perfectly depict individual objects.

ZEISS is proudly announcing the first generation, ZX1 camera. A compact, contemporary and powerful mirrorless system with ZEISS Distagon lens with a full-frame 37.4 MP CMOS sensor. This small package camera delivers multi-faceted street, landscape and travel capabilities. The High-resolution OLED EVF gives a high quality live view and intuitive input with no distraction. Additionally, the virtually silent Leaf shutter assists in gentle environments and silent street photography, while the intuitive switches guide photographers to change appropriate modes seamlessly in urgency.

To have a first look and "try-on" of the new Batis 2/40 CF lenses and explore the workings of the new generation ZEISS ZX1 camera, visit the ZEISS Booth #1029 at PhotoPlus on October 25-27th, 2018 at The Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
